Rated 5 out of 5 by DScott from Better than the rest!I was able to test these side by side with another brand this year after shooting a bull elk. The mystery ranch bags felt better and fit the game better. The integrated ears that fit onto their pack frames are a definite improvement over the other brand and the handles are a major upgrade. The material also proved to be stronger than the other brand as they held up and the competition ended up ripping in two spots. If I were to purchase again I would buy all 4 bags in the large size, as the smaller size was shorter than I would have liked for a front quarter of an elk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tbeats from Strong as HellThese bags are tough. The set of bags is slightly heavier than some other synthetic bags on the market, but holy schnikes are these bags strong. I packed out an exceptionally large-bodied bull elk earlier this September, bone-in, and they performed as expected. They kept my meat clean even though bags hit the dirt with quarters inside. I have a Pintler pack, and the strap worked great with the load shelf. I had no movement when packing out, even with the head on top. I even had help from someone who did not have a frame pack and simply carried a 60+ pound bag of meat by the strap for over a mile. While likely not the intended use, it held up and showed no signs of tread wear. I am very impressed with these bags and will gladly continue to carry the extra 1lb for many hunts to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jwhiteman15 from High qualityIn full transparency, I’ve yet to put them to the test but they far exceed the quality of the previous disposable game bags I’ve used. The integration with the Guide Light MT frame is stellar - it’s so easy to use and places the weight (tested with backpacking gear, not meat) right onto the frame and down to your hips. I look forward to loading these bags with meat this fall. Will update review.

Rated 3 out of 5 by GSJockey from Rugged but heavyI bought a set of these, but I left them in my pickup my last hunt because they are heavy. On my recent back country elk hunt, I carried a set of four "stretchy" style bags in my backpack because they were less than half the weight and bulk. I will use these MR bags in the future, but only for a hunt with my vehicle, not a back pack hunt.
